Kevin has over 40 years’ experience as a commercial litigator having represented clients from a wide variety of industry sectors in contractual and intellectual property disputes.  He has often handled cases with an international element.

Kevin is perhaps particularly well-known for his media law practice having extensive experience of defamation, privacy, copyright and data protection issues.

Over the years he has acted for a large number of national newspapers, book and magazine publishers over many years, including the Mirror Group, Penguin Books, Random House, HarperCollins and Private Eye as well as high profile individuals.  He has been involved in many significant cases such as Naomi Campbell v MGN Ltd which effectively introduced a law of misuse of private information in the UK, and the “Holocaust Denier” libel claim brought by David Irving against Penguin Books.
